Photo Shoot-#2
I scheduled another photo shoot back in January 12, 2020. I did this to give myself more of a variety of photos to work with. I wanted to capture an image that went along with the spiritual aspect of my article, and be more intentional with who I took photos of and how I executed it. I scheduled the photo shoot ahead of time to make sure the two subjects I wanted were available. I made sure they wore plain colors and athletic type clothes. This would help with the quality of the pictures and give the photos some context as to what kind of audience I'm reaching. I retook the cover photo a few times between both subjects to have some variety and options to chose from. These photos truly opened some more doors for both my marketing on social media and photos for my article.
Out of all my photos, I chose these to pick from due the fact that they portrayed what I wanted in my article and cover.
This was another post I used. This subject is very photogenic which is why I used her often and on my cover.

I chose this picture to put in my article to portray one who distraught over the number on the scale because the subject really acts out this feeling well. Once I put the black and white filter on it, I knew it would fit perfectly when I mention pitfalls of weight loss.
This is the photo I went with for my cover due to the colors and the subjects ability to evoke a feeling that I could not have asked her to replicate. She portrays a joy and satisfaction in her smile that I wanted to show my audience. This could give them hope that one day they could be like her, or if they already do share this feeling, they are not alone.
I used this picture for my magazine Facebook page because it displays peace and tranquility which is what my magazine is all about.
