Healthline.com is an online magazine. They cater to 86 million visitors online in the US and they have 1.62 million people who are community members. They feature advertisements like Disney and ESPN. The stories they feature along with this topic are, "The 18 most addictive foods (and the 17 least addictive)", "For a Longer Life and Happier Gut, Eat More Fiber", "6 ways to boost your coffee with vitamins and antioxidants", "Ten exercises to tone every inch of your body" . This is expected when looking at the audience they are appealing to because they appeal to those trying to improve their health with supplements and their diet. Since there is no real cover page for this article, they use a photo to guide the reader along. The first photo they use is of a group of people gathered around a table with a bowl of chips. They are all reaching for the chips at once, which is meant to parallel with the problem they present of how hard it is to lose weight. This picture captures the problem that many face when around food: cultural pressure to eat; junk food and its pull; and the fellowship with others who are eating. The related articles include a picture of a basket of fries and ice-cream cones. The other features articles that relate to other aspects of health include pictures of a girl in exercise clothes, vegetables on a cutting board, and an older woman next to some flowers. Healthline Magazine has been certified as a Great Place to Work and was named the Top 5 in Ad Ages Best Places to Work in 2019. This magazine has many professionals to make sure they are up to date and accurate on what they release to the public, which makes them credible and a good choice to model my magazine after.
