Revised article

I revised my article in In-Design which allowed me to have access to more editing features. Since creating my first two article pages, I scheduled another photo shoot and researched many magazines and their conventions regarding the cosmetics of their magazine presentation. Through this research and my access to more photos, I was able to create a more professional and well-developed article. One of the first changes I made was the first photo of the article. I wanted to make the photo larger to fit a more conventional look. Many of the articles in the genre of health and wellness had larger photos at the beginning of their article with the title somehow overlapping. I implemented this into my article by allowing my photo to be the background of the title. This allows it to have a more professional appeal. I also changed some of the photos for the article. I changed the second photo on the first page to a photo I had taken at my second photo shoot. I realized I could not use the previous picture due to the fact that it was not taken by myself. I kept the first photo of the man eating the burgers, but I placed it on the second page. I eliminated the last two photos on the second page of the article and replaced them with photos from my second photo shoot. This was a result of my having a clearer image of what iamges I wanted to capture in my second photo shoot. These photos allowed me to portray the message in my article more clearly. For the first photo featured in the article, I used the transparency feature to allow the title to be easily read. I touched up the cosmetics of my article pages when I created a dividing line between the bottom line of the article and the page numbers and website.  I used a drop shadow effect to make my photos appear as if they were jumping of the page, which is another conventional feature of magazine article photos. I did this to show more creativity and follow along with the conventions of traditional health and wellness magazines. I also, upon feedback, added my website and the page numbers of the article. All of these small aspects add to the polished feel of my magazine.
